Scratch drawings....LOL!

These are some of my scratch drawings that didn't come out very well, so I always finish them to learn from my mistakes..... These are the ones I truly learn from. I was trying to match the nomad's color...and it didn't turn out right, but I thought the color was cool. I'm commisioned to do drawings some of which I can't put on here but I sure like being critiqued by guy's like all of you.

Arrowhead,

What a build job..... you have got to be a welder.... what a frame, and the car is AWESOME! thanks so much for the pics, it helps so much when drawing to have a reference photo. Now it's my turn to really show you what I can do with chalk. I'll make it very photo...realistic. I'll have a booth at world of wheels in KC, this year and i'll have it on display. I have quite a few to finish for Christmas presents for people, but I'll get started in a few days on the drawing, I'll keep you posted as it comes along so you can see..... it's like a build job! I think I'll do at least two views and maybe three. Thanks brother.

Thanks man, that's too cool! Sure you can do what ever you want with your pictures, thier yours and you created them.

I didn't build the frame, the car is a Factory Five Racing '33 hot rod kit. I'm assuming you had some picture for inspiration for your drawing that was of a FFR '33, there are some styling cues that give it away.

Canlt wait to see you progress.

BTW, there was one change from that picture, the exhuast goes out the back now and doesn't dump in front of the rear tires.

Arrowhead,

This view is awesome! If you have a special view send it, if not I will draw using the other views. I like to change em up a bit sometimes, but without losing the lines.

Have a great day!

Great work Kartoon. One thing on the rod to be careful about is the grill bars. The right side of the grill looks good, but the left side looks like the grill bars are straying off and bending to the left, instead of straight up towards the top of the grill. Other then that great job, the wagon looks great!

Bj,

Thanks so much for the compliment! I know the grill went crazy on me.... I started that drawing and decided I wasn't happy, so I just quickly finished it. I did it in a couple of hours. I'm going to do a full rendering of that car in a couple of weeks, ARROWHEAD.. gave me the clearance to do so.. and it will be smack on. I have to finish some drawings for clients for Christmas gifts first. I'm posting my Halloween entry later today, I think you'll like it. The wagon came out pretty good, There allot better in person.... the wow factor is better. I thank you so much for your opinion, it means allot brother. Are you in the design business?

Have a great day.
