screaming SBC at Philly auto show
Last week my boys and I went to Philly Auto Show. Got to stay current you know.
When we walked into the main exhibit hall, which is the old Reading Railroad train shed, the first thing we heard was a screaming SBC. Inside the convention center they had an full-blown engine dyno set up inside a glass enclosed room. Having been involved in construction in the City for years and dealing with the City L&I folks. I couldn't believe L&I would ever permit such a set up inside the convention center. GM must have some swing around here. Thinking that you have gas, exhaust, load bank heat, cooling system bla,bla,bla...... After the "pull" was over and the people dispersed I asked the moderator what they did with the exhaust. Well, they had me fooled for while, but it was a simulation. All the time we were there, anywhere in the hall, you here them do a "pull" about ever 10 minutes. Music to me! vicrod |
