Post Screw-In Oil Filter on 70s 350?

I recently bought a stroked 350, I dont know much about it(history), I was wondering if I would be able to use a screw on oil filter or if I would have to get some type of adapter. I am sure somebody would know.

The screw on filter should be a standard item on a '70 engine. If you still have your old engine, unscrew the filter and unbolt the two bolts holding the adapter fitting and just transfer it to your replacement engine. Otherwise just go to a bone yard and get one off one of the un-rebuildable engine, should be fairly cheap. Worst case is to go to any GM dealer.

Glad to help a fellow gearhead out.
