SDT or Flowmasters

I was wondering what kind of muffler you guys thought was better for a small block V8; Edelbrock SDT or any kind of the Flowmaster series. I have heard the SDT on commercials, and they sound pretty dang good, but they may be running it off of a big block, or maybe even some kind of Funny Car. Or it may not even be SDTs at all. Also, are they made as well as Flowmasters are, will the backing blow out?

On the lighter side, what if someone is like "What kind of exhaust do you have on that thing?!?!" and you say "STDs". You'd probably sound pretty retarded.

i personally have never herd the STD's and I hate the sound of flow masters. Every one around here has them on everything, from the civic to the hot rod. I personally love the sound of a turbo muffler. Like a dynomaxx muffler or even the summit ones, which or 15 bux each. I have 2 summit ones on my 71 c-10 with headers and a 350, sound great, nice low rumble and they sound amazing at WOT.

By the way, nice username
