sealing rings

I just got my kit for my th350 and the sealing rings are different from what I had before, they are orange and don't interlock like the other ones. they seem to hard to be teflon but they could be. where the two ends meet they just have opposite tapers that overlap. are these decent enough for a stock to mildly modded rebuild.

I've used that design for years on the t-350 trannys.

good to know, thank you. they are a bit thinner also is this ok. just lube the heck out of them and all should be well?
