the seat belt does not roll back in the like it should with out helping it . I was thinking the springs that pull the belt need oiling. Any one else has this problem ?

Possibly, but most likely the spring is worn out and needs to be rewound or replaced.

seat belt question

You might try cleaning the windup mechanism, and also see if the belt has rolled over.

I had the same problem with my Olds years ago. I pulled the plastic cover from over the seatbelt mechanism. The belt was exposed , along with a plastic housing. I carefully pried the round plastic housing that holds the tension spring for the belt. It was not broken in any way and I was able to wind the spring tighter and reclip it back in the housing. I then put it back on the seat belt bracket set-up the same way it came off. I still have the seat belt in the car and it still works. Maybe this will work for you or it may be broken and needs replacement. Good luck!
