im changing my car from bench to buckets&console i needed to strip the donor seats down to the springs, now im planing to purchase new covers but do i need to get the preformed padding that is offered for the seats or can i just use regular padding? ill probably have someone else do the work maybe?? im not sure yet. any general advise on this subject is helpfull thanks. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

I've helped do a set of 66 Chevelle buckets before. The guy bought after market set that came with all the padding and clips. All we needed to buy was a wierd set of plyers. When finished, they looked great. After a few weeks, he yanked them out and tweaked them a little, but I think it is a self help project with two sets of hands and a free afternoon
