seat question
are the front seats from a 55 4dr the same as a 57? I want seat covers but they only have a 55 pattern?
Do you know a good place to get seat covers made up?

www.rodinteriors.com email Joel. I got 2 bench seat covers, 4 door panals, headliner and windlace, and 2 extra yards of vinyl, for $1,400 after shipping. Cheap compared to other suppliers. got the stuff for my '51 Chevy Fleetline, seat covers were custom made with '49-'54 Templates. they'll custom mix and match colors all you want. they have patterns for most anything. I know they have '55-'57 patterns.

If you are on the "cheap" as are many of my customers. JC Whitney offers a pleated set of vinyl covers. That when installed correctly will look and wear as good as the expensive guys. I have a set in a 71 GMC shortie that have been on since the early eighties and are just now showing wear on the drivers side welting and some minor drivers seat grain splitting.
