I"m really looking for an opinion on this problem.
I'm figuring the seat risers for my '46 Chevy Panel truck and ran into a small problem. For the risers to fit in place I either have to pull the rear oak floor up and cut a notch for the risers in it. or I could bend the notch in the risers and place it over the oak floor and run the bolts through it. It would only be the last 1 1/4" of the riser and three more bolt would go right through the steel floor. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about, riser in black, oak floor in red and steel floor in blue.
What do you guys think, pull and cut the floor or bend over it??
