Select Head Gasket
Talking about a original iron block with ProFiler aluminum heads with 11.20:1 static compression and Total Seal rings. Block is 3/4 filled with Hard Blok.
I was using a composite type head gasket before with "461" iron heads. The block was decked two years ago and has a good smooth surface. Will I be wise to switch to a MLS gasket because of the brand new aluminum heads. Of course, I had no problems before, with the iron heads. I would prefer to use the same Mr.Gasket 5800 composite as before because of the perfectly sized valve pockets in that gasket. Thanks in advance. Joe |
I see no problem w/using the same p/n 5800 head gasket. I have not used them, just going by the published info.
