Sorry to revive this old convo, but it's the best fit for my question!

I bought a KD Tools 2393, because of course my TH350 sprung this leak... but I was totally blown away that the tool WILL NOT FIT over my selector shaft.

I'm a pretty solid NOOB when it comes to trans... but I didn't think any selector shaft that could be put into my trans, wouldn't be a near exact replacement, meaning the tool would fit.

Anyone have any ideas?

it is best to start a new thread so your question is not lost.

sometimes there are edges pushed up on this shift shaft from the shift arm bolted on... you need to file them down so the tool slides over
