?on selling price on my 406 sbc

now im im not selling it here but just wondering if its a good price to ask its a fresh 2 bolt 4.155 bore honed with deck plates trw flat top pistons stock 400 rods with arp bolts cast crank cut 10/10 childs&albert bearings and rings isky solid lifter cam cloyes timing chain with cam button z28 oil pump has 11.2 comp with 64 cc heads was thinkin of askin 1200.00 with the cam engine hasnt run yet what do yall think

I wouldn't pay that much. Then again, minus the machine work I assembled my 400 myself. Someone might pay that much.

I just hooked a friend of mine up with a guy selling a stock 400 that runs good for $300. Although, I am like a vulture when it comes to finding deals on car parts.

That's going to be a tough sell with stock rods and crank. $800 would be about tops in my area.

If it is just a short block, I'd say $700 max. You got a good block but the stock rods hurt it in my opinion. If it had more machine work done like decking, align-boring, etc. along with 5.7 rods, $1200 is very reachable
