SEM products to change interior color?

I've got a 92 mustang with red interior that needs some work. Since I'll be replacing the seats and carpet, as well as building a custom dash, I am considering changing the interior color to black. I have used the SEM products before for hard plastic interior pieces and have been pleased with the results. I haven't used them on flexible pieces such as door panels. I want to use something pretty wear resistant that will hold up to being scuffed and cleaned. Has anyone used a good product such as SEM and been happy with the outcome? I don't want my car to ook like it has a spray painted interior.

I have used it on vinyl, hard plastic, and leather. If you prepare the surface correctly according to their recommendations, you will not have any problems. SEM is not a paint or a dye, they call it a "permanent flexible coating"
