Sensors

Does anyone know of a web site where you can see a list of sensors on car engines and what they do?

My guess would be MAP sensor (manifold absolute pressure sensor). It tells the computer the air pressure in the intake, so it can determing how much load is on the engine (high pressure = low load, etc.)
