Post Service Manual Recommendation?

I have a new 69' RS/SS 396 Camaro and I am planning on going all the general maintenance, i.e. breaks, tune up, etc. I was thinking that I should get the original GM service manual. I found you can get them on a cd-rom for about $50 bucks. What do you guys use and/or recommend? Is this a good idea or what other manual brands should I look for. I am not a big Chiltons fan. Here is a link I found to the factory manual on cd: http://www.gearheadcafe.com/catalog.html

If you can get a factory manual, that's the way to go. I do think Haynes makes a nice generic manual, but nothing is as good as the factory one.
