Thanks Dan for the good explanation.I didn't realize that you had servo motors on your machines.I see that I don't have to be concerned about a 1/2 servo not being as strong as a 1/2 clutch style.Changing the pulley would be an option, but will still be to fast at even half speed,and you would still have to get used to the clutch.Don't think I have enough spare time to practice to get good enough to work on the real thing.It sounds like the servo will give us the control that a beginner needs to play around and have fun.
