Setting Headlights

I bought some new headlights for my truck and I am needing to know how to set them. I know you turn the screws, but I need to know like how high, side to side and stuff like that I need to set them. I can shine them on my garage door to set them, but how far away should the truck be from the garage?

lights

Center to center should be the same distance as the spacing of the lights....10 ft from flat surface. Then pull back 25 to 30ft and adjust so the lights just hit the ground. I've used this method for years. I do this any time I change ride height.

Ponykiller,

You set them up this way on "dim", correct?
