Okay, my buddy told me that early mark IV big block chevys came not only in 2 bolt and 4 bolt mains, but also in 2 bolt nodular mains that are stronger than the 4 bolts. this sounded almost familiar to me, so we called the local engine rebuild shop and one of the guys told us this is true but he called it something else (I cant remember what he called it). anyone know what he is talking about? we have a friendly wager going here and need something more than this before I admit I've lost.

Sounds like a double wager to me.

They exist and that they were stronger than 4 bolt.

disprove any of the 2 and you are home free.

Sorry I did not answer the question but I cannot see anything other than a billet 2 bolt cap being stronger than a stock 4 bolt cap.
