Yes, it will work fine to do a few car interiors. It is a lot like the Consew 206. It has a horizontal axis hook, and the bobbin case comes out to replace the bobbin, which is on the left side of the needle. It has a clutch motor which will require a lot of practice to master. As with everything, you get what you pay for. My last machine (Consew 255-RB-3) cost me $1600, 8 years ago. This machine is probably made in China. If you were going to make a living with a sewing machine, you wouldn't choose this one, but for a hobbyist it would be fine.
