Shame Holden won't actually make these...

If they decided to make these over here for us Aussies, I'd be lining up to buy one!

I'd buy it. Too bad GM won't build cars that people want to buy.

That is one badarse looking ride. I wonder if they could stick with the basic body style and still meet government regulations. Look around, G.M., you're surrounded by new Chrysler and Ford products.

GM's too busy paying huge salaries to worthless mis-managers and sponsoring fashion week to give a damn about building decent cars.

That looks a lot like a revamped '49-'51 Mercury. OH! those beautiful lead sleds.

very cool

what a shame all the designers at GM quit or died. I grew up in GM family and owned some myself, but that was then and this know. GM people said retro was a dirty word when they tried to sell the new GTO to the older drivers that could afford it. Now they market an HHR/PT Cruiser trying to catch up five or six years too late. They don't seem to anticipate the trends.

GM are doing what US Chrysler did in the 80's and Australian Ford did in the 90's - expect people to buy whatever shyte they choose to market.
As an Australian I'm proud of what Holden have done in the last 5 years, but I'm not proud of the petty GM politics that have cost the world some great cars.

Drop by your dealer and tell him his stock SUCKS, wave your check book. There are tallented stylists/engineers in most companies, If we let the salesmen win, we all lose.
