Shameless SPAM...but I need a T-5

I'm lookin for a Borg-Warner T-5 from a '90-'93 Mustang V-8. The best would be from a 93 Cobra...but fat chance at finding one. If anyone has one that they want to get rid of, or if they know one for sale, I would really appreciate it if you'd contact me. I've smoked 3 trannys in the stude now and I need something that I can run hard with out breaking, everyone thinks I have a slow car cause I can't get on it...
Thanks,
Jake

Buy a Tremec. And forget it. T-5 aren't really known for thier strength.

I don't have the money for a tremec, othewise I would get one. The T-5s out of the 90-9 Mustangs are rated at 300 foot pounds stock, and with some modifications, you can can increase that rating significantly and still have less in it than a tremec. Also, you can get a T-5 with a .63 overdrive ratio, and with my 4.27 rear, I need all the overdrive I can get.

Go with a 4-speed toploader, 27 spline. Bulletproof. Look up DAVID KEE. Everything you wanted to know and more about toploaders. His web site is fantastic and under customer cars you will see my 67 mustang. Good luck,Bud.

I'd like a four speed, but with a 4.27 rear end....i need overdrive and I don't want to spend a crap load of money on a toploader then another crap load on a gearvenders overdrive.
