Ok so I have spend a couple weeks researching these things and for my budget I pretty much decided on the finex (although I could still be swayed).
I have a pretty good compressor (something like 16cfm@100psi, 80 ga two stage bel aire) but my gun is lacking. I have the top of the line craftsman, it set me back oddly more than the cost of the finex but I just like the idea of two guns (craftsman will be the primer gun) and I like the gravity feed idea (less waste).
Ok so the finex..
what tip size??
From what I have read go with the 1.3 but I'd like some more input especially once the gun has been narrowed down if that makes any difference.
Probably helps to tell what I am spraying. It is an omni single stage paint, I forget the actual letters but I could get that tonight if it makes a difference. This is my first project. Next one will be a nason but a bc/cc (yes both are lower end paints but I am a noooob!).
The third one is my 57 chevy and I'll go for the best paint I can get for that one, once I have a clue as to what I am doing....
I hear you can buy tips for the gun, but for the $70 price tag on it I could just get another one..
So, once again - what tip would ya suggest??
Thanks!!!
