I am going to shave the door handels on my 57 Chevy wagon. I have read that the door lock solenoids work well for this. Is there any particular car I should seek out to donate these or will most any car do?

Mike 1980s GM cars have very good door lock motors. When you find a donor take all the rods with the motor. These are very strong rods and will save you a lot of time. This is the same thing I did to the Plymouth and you can read how to put them in on my garage web site. And if you need extra help you know where I am. ROY
