shaved door handle emergency release cable

I wanted to know where a good place to mount the emergency door release cable is on a 1991 chevy xcab silverado?

I had an idea of running the cable up into the tool box where nobody could get to it, anyone have any other ideas ?

you don't give much info on your door latches, but i'll try...
i used bicycle brake cables for my safety release cables. if your using stock door latches, you need to run thru the door jams. a tandem bike rear brake cable is long. possible mounting spots would be your grill, headlight bezel, under the truck....

I have a positive and negative line ran from the driver side solinoid to right under my front bumper. Ever need to get in I just apply 12v to it and done.
