shaved door kit

I am trying to install a Spal remote door kit. I am having trouble understanding the instructions. It seems that I have lots of wires that do not get used. Does anyone know of any on-line instructions that might be a little clearer than the ones that come with the kit?

SPAL USA

What's giving you problems..... seems pretty straight forward.

I think I have part of it figured out. It seems that the one I bought is set up to do six different functions. What I thought I was getting was one that did the two doors on a coupe. Lots of extra wires. There is a molex connector with 10 pins and I think the only one or two that might pertain is the + wire and the ground wire. Although, since I am not using any other wire in that connector, does that hot wire or the ground wire need to be connected? Of the 5 spade connectors I only need 3 plus I will need to figure out a ground.

What you'll need is the wire dia for the one you have. You should have a +12v in and a ground to the brain and maybe a few other wires......then the brain should be split out via a couple of connectors or one connector with many wires etc....... if all you are going to use are the door poppers, then you need to locate the Hot wires for each side etc..... mount your solenoids in the doors and run a ground from the popper into the cabin and ground it to the kick panel. Don't use the door as a ground. Run your hot wire from the brain to the popper etc...... I'd use a boot to transition from the door to the "A" pillar, I also use 14 gauge extension cord to make my wiring runs to doors..... triple insulated and very weather proof.
