Cool Shaved doors

I am in the process of installing a shaved door kit in my 40 Chevy pick-up I have installed power windows and like the look of a smooth door panel, I also want to elimanate the interior door handle as well and use the remote to open the doors from the inside , is this a good idea or not. any comments are appreciated.

Hey jmi- I've used Ball's actuators and remotes on several projects- also love the look of smooth uninterrupted door lines- Yes, your actuator will open the door from the inside, but you should have an emergency release in case of accident, battery failure or discharge, etc. Nothing worse than coming back to the car after sitting in the drive-in for a couple hours to find out you left the cooling fan on that drained the battery and now you can't get in!! I have no handles on the interior of my Henry <, but still have external emergency cables hidden so I can get in- in case!!
