#2: I want to know if you can install a shift kit with out dropping the trany?
Why you ask,see#1
Yes. All you need to do is drain the fluid, remove the pan and valve body and install the kit. Be carefull not to lose any of the little ball bearings and just use a little petrolium jelly to hold them in place when reinstalling everything.
