Question shift problems 4l60e

Heres the problem. Have 1995 gmc 1500. Was shifting fine until I got this bright idea to install a b&m shift improver kit. When I start driving everytng is fine, but as i slow down to say cross railroad tracks or a stop sign and don't make a complete stop it acts as if the tranny is still in 4th gear upon accelerating. Seems to be ok IF I come to complete stop. As for driving it shifts good except for this one problem. Any help is appreiciated. Thanks Jeff

not to come off as an *** here, retrace your steps on your kit and see if you did some thing incorrectly. if not replace the shift solenoids before you replace the pan, after that seek help from your local tranny shop scanner will let you see the data stream and that will show whats going on!

Thanks. I stoped and talked to our localtranny guy and he said as soon as he gets time he will check it out . He basically said that it sounds like a mis drilled hole in the spacer plate. Offered me a new one to start again but I think I'm going to let him handle it. He said he'll take it apart check it over install a new plate and a transgo shift kit and a new servo. Says he doesn't care for b&m's kit because they eliminate the accumulater springs, says it is to hard on a transmission. Thanks again. Jeff
