shifter for C4/C6 autobox
Hi - does anyone know of a good replacement shifter for my C4/C6 auto box please? Mine has problems locating properly for each gear, R, P etc.
thanks Chris |

C4 C6 shifter
Thanks for that. The shifter itself is hard to move also - it feels like it's holding against the tunnel or something. I'll have to get under and check it out.
The 302 and C6 are in a Capri MK1 Perana from South Africa. Will post some shots when it's decent looking. Mechanicals nearly there - body and paint not. cheers Chris |

I hear you. Sounds nice. Can't wait to get a look at it! There's a nut that holds the shifter in place down there, too. You can loosen it a bit, grease and lube the shifter, and it'll ride more smoothly.
