Shifter installation/replacement

Hi all-
I have a B&M Megashifter that recently gave up the ghost (the "trigger" broke away from the part that it connects to down in the shifter). I have ordered a B&M Z-Gate to replace it. How hard of a swap will this be? I don't believe I'll even have to crawl under the car, will I? I've never replaced a shifter before, but since it had previously been converted from a column shift to the Megashifter, most of the hard work should already be done. Can anyone give me a heads up on what kind of project I have ahead of me? Thanks in advance!

I could be wrong but I'm fairly sure you won't have to crawl under the car. You should just be able to uinbolt the shifter, remove the cable from the old shifter, bolt it to the new shifter, and bolt the new shifter in place.
Like I said I could be wrong but I think it should be fairly easy swap.
Good luck
