Shifting in my 92 mustang is rough

i have a new racing clutch and fly wheel but before i tear into it i was wondering if there was anything else i could do that would make my shifting easier. it shifts ok in 1st and 2nd but third feels like you hit a wall then it goes in.....

could be some worn internals. Worn syncros or blocking rings will make shifting difficult as well as worn or bent shifting forks.

Most likely internal wear but the wrong or old oil would make it worse. A proper service can't hurt plus it's cheap. When it doesn't help, consider a rebuild necessary.
