shock bolts (96 Jeep)

1996 Cherokee... stock shock bolts broke off (the uppers) the lowers came out just fine. I'm not sure if I should use hardened (more brittle) or regular bolts for replacements.

I appreciate the help!

I usually just use grade 8 hardware to replace the shock bolts I break or that just need replacing.
