Post Shock recommendations

What would be the best shock for a '54 F100 with a front steer Camaro front end, small block chevy, p/s, p/b, .920" dia. sway bar?
Not tryin to beat Porches, just want decent ride and control. Last time I drove it (when I bought it), it had some bump steer, but I think that's because there were bias plys on the front and M&H radials on the back. I've put all new ball joints and bushings in, new bearings, turned the rotors etc.
One more question. Are them pretty red sway bar links any better than stock?

Go to your local auto parts store and buy the heavy-duty or performance shock they list for the Camaro front end you've got. That should do fine for you.
Those red bushings sure are pretty but if they're more than double the cost of the black OEM style, well, I can pretty much guarantee that they are not 100% better in working capacity?
