Question Shocking research

I have just cut the front coils on a 39 Dodge chassis and I am using the chassis under a rat rod. I need to install shocks. The eye posts are approx 13 1/2 inches on center. How do I find the right shock to fit on this. Is there a chart somewhere that describes the shock? Whether it has eyes at both ends or a post, collapsed and open lengths?
Anybody got an idea?

Here is a Speedway Motors shock that will fit but most after market vendors have similar units.

OK Willys, how did you do that. What was the source of your research? Speedway? How did you access it?

I have a Speedway catalog so I just looked up their part # and logged onto the Speedway site. Could have looked it up in Yahoo! too. Cut and pasted the address off the MS Explorer Address line into the post.

Woops. Just logged into the link I posted and it reverted tot Speedway's home page. Just do a search on SHOCK and it should bring up all their stuff w/ pictures. Then you can pick what you need.

Found it! 44.95 for a pair of the little beauties and they are not chrome. Found a pair on e-bay as well. Maybe I can snipe a good deal!
