Shocks

My 86 olds cutlass I lowered with 2 inch drop spindles on the front and Hotchkis dropped coil springs on the rear, the front rides fine, but the rear rides rough, what shocks should I get to improve the ride? on smooth pavement it`s like a sheet of glass, hit the slightest bump you don`t feel it in the front but you do the rear. I`m using a year old standard monroe gas matics, which are a bit too soft I believe. Any help is appreciated.

I had a 80 Monte, basically the same as your Olds (G-body) with a very similar setup. Although I had polyurethane susp. bushings. I used KYB Gas-adjusts and was very happy with them.
