I am remodeling my garage into a "guys only" party room and usable clean shop. The floor is going to be a black and white checkerboard pattern. Anyone know what I should use for this that will clean up nice and still be usable as a shop floor?

depending on your price range, griot's sells black/white composite tiles, guaranteed to stand up to anything, not chip, not stain... and real spendy. might be worth a look-see, http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=91358 . good luck, sounds like a nice place.

Go with the tiles man! I would like to have the tiles at any price, only I never have the money for tile? You have it right steppenwolf! But if money is a problem I guess you could Paint the squairs on the floor instead like Madd syntst suggested! It may be labor intensive though. I just have dirty concrete floors with junk scattered around on it. Just kinda looks like a garage floor only with the junk laying around everywhere.

Thanks for the replies!! I am going to look around at what is available for tiles. I checked out the site Steppenwolf talked about, but they are way out of my league. I'm just part of the lowly old middle class. Those tiles would have cost me more than the combined value of all 6 vehicles I own.

So when can we come over? Better not tell the ladies on this site it's guys only!
