Second batch.
1/8th scale Mysterion show car I have been working on and off (mostly off) for the last several years. Body parts are 'glas, engines, trannys, wheels are resin castings, all form carved wood molds. Lots of other parts from Monogram Bit T and Lindberg Big Rod 1/8th scale kits. ![]() 'glas body molds Here are a few of the urethane and silicone rubber molds for engine and chassis parts. Several shots of a world land speed record car built for another Auto World mail-in contest. Company went out of business and never ran the contest. Body is 'glas, two modified slot car motors back to back, rewound armatures, home made aluminum wheels. has never run. Anyone out there have a 100' long HO scale LSR track handy? 1/16 scale model of Tom McKewen's funny car of several years ago. Built from AMT's 1/16 scale '57 Chevy kits and parts from a Revell 1/16 scale dragster kit. Quite a bit of custom chassis work as well as the obvious extensive body mods. |

Ha.. I missed this thread back then. I haven't finished a model in decades but have started spending some time with my son building some lately. Mainly a Cammer powered 32 three window shown below. The others are from the 80's... wow, where did the 90's go??
BTW very nice rides Pro 48.. where do you get those wheels? -Stephen |

Im a big fan of the pro touring cars so i like large diameter wheels and there either 20 or 22" ers to scale, and i get them from various die casts cars and incorporate them in the build. The 56 has a pegaus wheel they sell alot of them from the on line site or hobby stores awesome wheels check at pegaus.com i beleive or have your local model store order them for you i beleive mine where like 2 bucks a wheel they make other styles also hydro hop wheels are cool if your into lowriders check um out nice rides!!! good luck building..

Models
Man I aint touched one of those things in 25yrs. I used to love it. Funny how little things get away from you over the years. I have a 32 Ford model (big scale) that my Mama bought me when I was 16yrs old. Its still in a box, dang sister messed the front fenders up on it and I wouldnt put it together. I got about 5 or 6 in the closet I have had for 15 yrs or more, not even opened, as a matter of fact , sis got me one for Christmas last year, I guess I really need to get all of them out and see if I can still put one together. Enjoyed looking at all your cars , used to have the Willys ones, I probably still have em some where. Nice work guys.
