This is my ugly, beat to death, recently supercharged 350 ... It's lived a hard life under the hood of my beat up 72 Blazer and seen more than a few 6400 rpm pulls . It doesnt smoke and still has good oil pressure but I think it's time to pull it and clean it up...
Here's the engine in the Biscayne. It's a 433 cu. in. BBC that dynoed at 638 @ 7400 without the NOS Big Shot sytem. It's not much on the bottom end, but it really gets with the program from about 3800 on up. Not too bad for a pump gas motor.
Man, you guys are way out of my league.
I was proud of my little redo for a neighbor 2 yrs ago.
I hope you won't laugh me outta here,
Still, I like rebuilding them.

I notice you don't have any heater hoses. I am waiting on my race only 396 to get back from the machine shop. Can I forgo the hose from the water pump to the intake and heater hoses?
Jc , i agree. i spent average money , to do it right, once.....before that it was usually just problem solving carb/ignitions after cam swaps and header installations.
magnus thats how im used to seeing em.
here is my 440 crysler 9.43:1 forged, iron heads, stage I ported / matched/ dyno-proved
i believe on a chevy too you can plug the heater hoses. water pump to intake feeds the heads so you may need that one. im pretty sure you can delete/plug most domestic v8 heater hose ports, without a U.
