If it has sat for a few weeks without being started pull the trans dipstick and see if it appears to be over full. If it is you will know the torque converter is bleeding back into the pan. I have known several friends who have panicked when they saw auto transfer fluid running out from under thei cars after parking them for a while.
Its fact! my stored cars set for a few weeks and the convertors bleed down and I get a small leak from the shift seals! its no big deal, and with the small high stall convertors it doesnt set very long before I get a drop or 2 LOL
