I had the same car at age 17 or so.

I hadn't heard the term "nailhead" at that age, though.
I bought the car from my uncle, and destroyed it in very short order ... racing a '72 Chevy 1/2 ton with a 350 4bbl.
The car had a rad leak, and at that age ... I drove it as long as the wheels would turn. Guages were something you looked at AFTER seeing the smoke or hearing the noise back then, I guess.
