My FORD engine

Ford 5.0 crate motor
GT 40P heads
Sanderson Headers
Crane 1.7 roller rockers
SVO E303 Cam
600 CFM Edelbrock Performer
Performer RPM Intake
MSD Billet Distributor/ignition
Stewart NASCAR water pump
Street and Performance auminum brackets

And yes, in this photo, the valve covers are on the wrong sides. Guess it must have been a bad day - but they weren't bolted down yet.

LS1 in 53 Studebaker Engine Pics

This is the 2000 LS1 that I just finished installing in my '53 Studebaker. It has an LS6 intake and valve springs, Corvette drive by wire throttle, and modified Sanderson headers with true dual exhaust. Its backed up by a 4L60E 4 spd OD automatic with a Yank 2800 stall converter, then an 8 inch Ford rear axle with true trac and 3.80 gears.

Nothing special... but I love her anyways,

My first and only engine I've built thus far, shes been going for a few years and built her when I was 17. Unfortunately I had no help and ended up assembling it from bottom up a handful of times before getting it right.

Anyways I'm happy with it.

-GM Crate 350 block
-Cast bottom end
-#450 heads, 60cc, 2.02/1.6, hand ported by yours truly
-1.6r roller tip comp mangum rockers
-10:1 cr
-Comp XE274, 230/236@0.50, .522/.522 (corrected) lift
-Edelbrock performer RPM intake
-Holley 4150DP 750cfm carb (modified for racing)
-Hedman 1 3/8" shorties

Sitting between the framerails of a 1984 S-10 short cab stripper truck. Used for street/strip fun. Also my first vehicle I purchased at age 11 :-)

While definately nothing hot as of yet (I'm just going warm anyway-- Hey it's mine, so I can build what I want...), here's my 305. It's currently sitting in my '78 Monte Carlo, and it'll head back in after I try to squeeze 1 H.P. per cubic inch. Or blow up trying. As it sits, it has not been ran in 11 1/2 years, and last ran 8 psi at near WOT @ minus 20* with 20-50W oil in the pan. On the plus side, it never knocked and can still be turned by a socket on the crank pulley.

In a while, Chet.
