This is the engine in my 58 Apache. The rocker covers are just a disguise it is a balanced and blueprinted 427 with rectangle port heads and the tarantula single plane intake and a Eldelbrock 750 carb.I put the power to the ground through a beefed up 700r4 with a 2300 stall convertor and an 87 gm 10 bolt rear with 4.56 richmond gears with a power trax locker and tractoin bars.

5.4 Mod motor with a 6-71 roots

Still under construction (actually almost finished with my second header). Roots supercharged Ford 5.4 liter modular motor out of a Navigator. Intake was fabricated, bottom is built from scratch, top was pre-cast from Dyers. Notice the genny, it's hurricane season again.

Gas mileage will probably suck, but who cares!

This is the 4.6 dohc in my '98 Ranger. The goal was to make it look like a factory install. The intake is a Ford prototype of the '96-'98 Cobra intake that was cast in '93.
