396 identification
Hey guys, just picked up a 402 off of craigslist -- was wondering if someone could identify it. Here are the numbers:
L19 70 3969854 --> meaning it is a 1970 402? CE162853 --> This is where I get fuzzy. Replacement? What car(s) did it come in? Its a bare block -- was $50 a good deal? Thanks Register now (free) or login to remove ads

L 19 70
L - December 19 - 19th of that month 70 - 1970 3969854....402.......70-72...2 or 4 bolt The CE code indicates this is a replacement block under warrenty.
