big block chevy torque sequence
i've searched everywhere and i cannot find the sequence to torque the heads onto a chevy big block... can anyone help me?

79 GMC 454 Cylinder head torque / sequence Try this link first ... it seems to be more direct now
If you can't get the link above to work properly, go to Autozone's repair info website and click on "Specifications" in the LH pane, it will prompt you for year,make,model,engine ...etc, and will give you a (pretty cheesy but effective) diagram and specs. Work from the center bolts to the outer bolts when tightening. The "exact" order isn't that critical.
