blown 69 camaro
I have a small block chevy, punched 30 over, 6-71 blower, 8 to 1 comp. about 8 lbs boost, runs srong very quick response, problem i'm having is my woodruff key on my balancer when i get on it, it shears that sucker.
any thoughts?

single key im betting!
if your crank isnt prepped for blower IE 2 keys youll be shearing them until you get it fixed. botom line is you NEED a crank with a blower snout on it. patterned after the big block which has 2 keyways. and balancer to match. people think you can just bolt on a roots style blower on a stock small block motor but it just isnt true. the crank snout is one of those things that IS needed. to fix the crank gotta come out and a keyway machined into it. or buy a crank with both keyways already cut.
