383 crankshaft

I just bought an eagle esp 383 crankshaft. It is external balanced and I was wondering if i have to balance it some more before installing it?

If you didn't get the complete balanced assembly... Yes you will need get your assenbly balance.

My own opinion but don't even think of building a high performance engine without balancing the ENTIRE rotating assembly. Just consider it part of the build cost.

yes, get your entire rotating assembly then go have it balance internally, an out of balanced rotating assembly is actually twisting on the crank trying to break it. even a stock rebuild is worth balancing
