Blown 350 Vortec $150- worth it?

Usually I don't go in for complete unknowns, but I bit on this pos just to see what I would get.

Craigslist, Atl.- guy asking $200, took $150.

Hopefully the heads survived, the block, who knows?

Does have a flex plate, balancer, front dress (minus A/C and alt.), has intake, dist., water pump, covers and like that. Pan's weldable but I already have one.

It'll be taken apart soon. I just hope the block survived.

worth the chance.

If the block is still good, it would be a good candidate for a new 3.75 inch stroke crank

Another 383 candidate.

Crank trashed, no biggie, but std. bores have no ridge and block #880 OK, #062 heads undamaged.

Score.

A very good score indeed. Best score I got was a 99 Vortec 350 complete, still running for $300.

Excellent, maybe you should buy a lottery ticket while your stars are still lined up.
