3x2 Rochester modifcation
I found 3 Rochester 2 barrel side inlet carbs. and was wondering what exactly has to be modified to make 2 dumper carbs. for a six pack setup. I know you have to remove the power valve and idle screws and plug them. What about the other small holes on top the throttle plates? Do these get plugged? Do you need any of these open? Is there anything else that needs attention other than the choke. THANKS

Stacey David did an episode about this last season. I checked the video on line, but it ends before he says what kit he used.
Speedway has a kit, and I suspect since Stacey was pushing the Speedway manifold, he also got the conversion kit for the carbs there. Here is the link for the kit with the linkage. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Roche...nkage,5963.html |

The latest Rod & Custom magazine has an article on this - they did mention using a Speedway kit (which looks to be the one already mentioned), so you could check that out and see what all is involved.
