305 to 350

So I have a chance to get my hands on an L48 350 with 30 000 kms on a full rebuild for 200 bucks. Now my dad doesn't want it in the garage so how long would it take to swap out my 305 for the 350. And will my parts (dreesup kit, intake, heads) transfer to the new motor. THe 350 is a 73 and my 305 is an 83. Also will the 350 bolt to my 700r4 and are the motor mounts the same? THanks

Yup... all the same. The only differences are in the guts.

As far as how long it should take... that is a great question. If you're a seasoned pro, 2 hrs. If its your first time, it could be 2 weeks

"Now my dad doesn't want it in the garage"

So, dad is something less than an aficionado of hot rodding, huh?
