350 motor ideas

I am looking for a 350 for a good driving 32'. Dont want a real hot motor, just some good sound with a long easy maintenance life. Thinking of a GM Performance long block, with a intake kit that would be about 290 HP to go with a 350 tranny. It is all going in a light car, so i think this would be fine, and ideas?

This may be more than you want....but it's always fun to have a leeeetle extra if you want to play. Go to www.yearone.com and look up crate engines, the CT350PC1 is listed for $2989 w/ a dyno sheet........400 hp and is very streetable....so they say, worth a look.
